Ashirvad Pipes is hiring a Lead – Procurement in Bengaluru. The role manages the supplier side of the business, from onboarding trading suppliers and contract manufacturers to releasing purchase orders and making sure materials arrive on time and in full. Key responsibilities
Supplier evaluation and onboarding
- Identify, evaluate and onboard trading suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Coordinate with Quality, Technical and Finance during supplier assessment and approval
- Maintain supplier master data and documentation
Commercial and PO management
- Support RFQs, price evaluation and commercial negotiations
- Release purchase orders in line with approved commercials, timelines and processes
- Ensure timely PO acknowledgement and confirmation from suppliers
Order expediting and delivery
- Track orders from PO release to final delivery
- Follow up with suppliers on production status, dispatch and logistics
- Flag delays, shortages or deviations early and drive corrective action for OTIF delivery
Cross-functional coordination
- Align delivery commitments with Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality and Logistics
- Maintain trackers for POs, order status, deliveries and pending actions
- Keep documentation complete for audits and compliance
