Role Overview

This role is about taking machine learning models from a data scientist’s notebook to a fully working part of a production system. You will build and maintain the pipelines that train models, move them into production, and keep them running reliably over time, working closely with data scientists and software engineers throughout. Selected candidates will work onsite at Apple’s Hyderabad office, gaining direct exposure to large-scale, production ML systems within one of the world’s most recognised technology companies. You should be comfortable owning a model’s journey from experimentation through to a stable production release, rather than working on just one stage of that process.

Work Environment & Team

Expect close, daily collaboration with data scientists, since your work directly determines how smoothly their models make it into production. You will also coordinate regularly with software engineering teams to improve automation and make pipelines easier to reproduce and maintain. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable training and data pipelines.
• Operationalise ML models from experimentation through production deployment.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows.
• Manage model versioning, deployment, and production releases.
• Monitor pipeline reliability, model quality, and operational health.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automation and reproducibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in MLOps, ML Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark and Airflow.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git/GitOps, and AWS.
• Good understanding of the production ML lifecycle, CI/CD, and model deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in any stream of Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MLflow or similar model lifecycle tools.
• Experience with feature engineering, data validation, and large-scale ML systems.
