About the Role
Cognizant is hiring a Senior Developer in Bengaluru to build AI-powered automation agents for enterprise customers. This full-time role (₹1,00,000–₹1,75,000/month) focuses on designing TypeScript-based workflows, implementing browser automation, and integrating AI, OCR, and system-level capabilities into reliable, scalable automation pipelines.
You’ll work closely with business analysts and delivery engineers to turn customer requirements into working automation agents — debugging real-world edge cases in live customer environments rather than building in a vacuum. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI, inside a company already delivering automation solutions to enterprise clients rather than building a product from scratch.
Key Responsibilities of Full Stack JavaScript Developer Jobs in Bengaluru
- Design, build, and maintain automation agents using TypeScript
- Implement browser automation with Puppeteer, Playwright, or similar tools
- Integrate AI, OCR, data handling, and system-level automation into end-to-end workflows
- Collaborate with business analysts to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
- Debug and troubleshoot complex automation scenarios in production customer environments
- Work closely with product, platform, and delivery engineering teams
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement practices
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of JavaScript experience, with strong TypeScript skills preferred
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and HTTP-based interactions
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and own deliverables end-to-end
Good-to-have skills for full-stack JavaScript developer jobs in Bengaluru
- Experience with Puppeteer and/or Playwright
