Role: Storekeeper

Department: Procurement & Stores
Reports to: Restaurant Manager / Unit Chef
Location: Mumbai
Budget : 15K to 16 K

Job Summary:

2– 4 years of relevant experience in a restaurant, hotel.

Responsible for managing the restaurant’s entire store operations, including the receipt, storage, and issuance of all food, beverage, bar, and general supplies. Ensures proper inventory control, documentation, and coordination with the purchase and accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and verify all incoming materials as per purchase orders and quality standards.

Ensure proper storage conditions for perishables, beverages, and dry stock.

Maintain accurate daily stock records (inward & outward) in the inventory management system.

Implement FIFO and FEFO systems for stock rotation.

Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely issuance of materials.

Conduct weekly and monthly physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Maintain par levels and alert the purchase team for replenishment.

Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained in all storage areas.

Prepare daily consumption and variance reports.

Liaise with vendors and accounts for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and billing accuracy.

Skills & Requirements:

Strong knowledge of store and inventory management processes in F&B.

Familiar with purchase cycles, GRN documentation, and stock audit practices.

Proficient in MS Excel or restaurant inventory software (e.g., Petpooja, POSist, Inresto).

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
