SAP BPC AMS Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BPC AMS Consultant to support our finance systems under an Application Management Services (AMS) model. The role involves managing incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements for SAP BPC, ensuring system stability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Support & Maintenance
– Monitor SAP BPC system performance and proactively resolve issues.
– Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
– Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
– Maintain and optimize BPC script logic, data manager packages, and input schedules.
Enhancement & Change Management
– Implement minor enhancements and configuration changes based on business requirements.
– Collaborate with functional teams to validate and test changes.
– Document changes and maintain version control for all updates.
Reporting & Documentation
– Prepare weekly/monthly service performance reports (e.g., ticket volumes, resolution times, KPIs).
– Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
– Liaise with finance users to understand issues and provide functional support.
– Coordinate with SAP Basis and BW teams for system-level troubleshooting.
– Participate in regular AMS governance meetings and service reviews.
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience in SAP BPC support (NetWeaver or Microsoft version).
– Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and consolidation processes.
– Familiarity with SAP BW and integration with BPC.
– Experience working in an AMS or managed services environment.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
